  • Your swimming costume
  • A towel to dry off with
  • A towel to sit on
  • Sandals or neoprene socks if you fancy a dip in the loch
  • A big bottle of water
Terms & conditions
  • Keep your breeks on. We're not that kind of sauna - swimming costumes must be worn at all times.
  • Jewellery should not be worn inside the sauna. It can become very hot.
  • Spectacles shouldn't be worn inside. Lenses may cloud or warp in the heat.
  • Consult your GP before taking part if you have any underlying medical conditions or use prescription drugs.
  • Nae weans. Hot Tottie is over 18s only, except at our Family Sessions.
  • Family Sessions take up to 8, children must be 12 or over, two children to one adult. No touching the stove.
  • If you take a dip in the loch you do so at your own risk. Temperatures can be extremely cold and currents unpredictable. It is your responsibility to be sure you can swim and are prepared for the cold.
  • The heater reaches extremely high temperatures and space inside is limited. Move slowly and avoid contact with the heater or surrounding surfaces. Severe burns may occur if precautions are not followed.
  • We may refuse access if we believe you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refunds are issued to anyone refused entry on safety grounds.
